Simon Jones was born in Llandeilo and combines a background in architecture (BA, AADipl) with that of a landscape painter. He has exhibited in The Waterman, New Academy and Mall Galleries London; architecturally he has worked in offices in London and Sydney. For the last 25 years he has been illustrating major architectural projects as well as completing watercolour commissions for high profile clients. Simon’s work is published in various publications and he is best known for his watercolours, often gaining inspiration from the local landscape and West Wales coastline. He is a Fellow of the Society of Architectural Illustrators, and member of the Royal Watercolour Society of Wales.
